Event Description
Members, it's time to set sail on a whisky week adventure, cruising the Derwent and enjoying some of the best fresh seafood you'll ever have – all paired with drams from some local legends.
Depart in style from Hobart's Elizabeth Street Pier, setting off on a two-hour pre-dinner cruise to celebrate World Oyster Day and all things whisky.
You'll enjoy freshly prepared local fare – including oysters served two ways, seasonal finfish, and artisan bread – plus drams from Derwent Distillery, Ironhouse / Tasman Whisky, Greenbanks Tasmanian Whisky Co, and Old Kempton Distillery.
Folks from each distillery will be aboard to share tales of the whiskies, and the knowledgeable crew will guide your journey between preparing the incredible fresh seafood.
And Club Members will get a special bonus dram!
Please note that you'll need to arrive at 3.45pm for a 4pm sailing, and it's recommended you dress for the conditions (probably warmly, to be safe).
