The Whisky Club is Australia’s biggest whisky community, delivering exclusive releases from the world’s greatest distilleries to over six thousand Members right across the country. As we continue to grow at breakneck speed and significantly build our Member offering, the Club is on the hunt for a whisky hero to take on the reigns as Club Ambassador along with a talented Marketing Coordinator with a flair for content production and strong appetite for success.

The Whisky Club Ambassador

If you have strong working knowledge of the whisky industry, are a natural storyteller, have a minimum one year prior experience working in the trade and events and a desire to operate at the top of the whisky game pioneering a whole new world of whisky fun then we need to talk!

What you’ll do:

  • Manage The Whisky Club events arm.
  • Contribute to TWC whisky selection and liaise with partner distilleries for events, whisky add-in products, joint promotion, merchandising and member engagement opportunities.
  • Contribute to new product development and ranging.
  • Be the face of TWC, represent and advocate TWC on all platforms and build and maintain dominant share of voice in online whisky conversation.
  • Oversee business development, manage and grow the Clubhouse network of TWC partners.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, advocates and media, serve as spokesperson for the Club.
  • Work with Member Services Officer to deliver enhanced personal service to individual members.
  • Contribute to content creation, including blog posts, EDMs and marketing collateral.
  • Assist with other operational, commercial, marketing and research tasks as required.

What you’ll bring:

  • A passion for and deep knowledge about whisky.
  • Industry experience in brand ambassadorial role or similar.
  • Strong organisational and presentation skills and events experience
  • Proven track record in business development / sales or stakeholder management
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Strong industry network
  • An innate ability to captivate a crowd with your clever wit and superb storytelling.
  • Social media and influencer marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creativity, openness, flexibility and a high level of motivation

The Whisky Club Marketing Coordinator

This is where things get interesting. You’re already a successful and ambitious marketing professional with killer content skills and a bright future ahead, but are you in the right industry? Well, if it’s not whisky then the answer is clearly no. Combine your passions and join Australia’s biggest whisky membership brand operating at the forefront of subscription ecommerce.

What you’ll do:

  • Marketing content production with a focus on content creation and copywriting.
  • Manage the marketing production of digital, social, offline, campaign and event marketing.
  • Create fun and memorable whisky events for our Members all across Australia.
  • Look after social media advertising and campaigns as well as SEO, SEM, EDM.
  • Good planning and workload management skills are essential as this role has a strong degree of autonomy.
  • Keep the website updated with great whisky content and our Whisky Of The Month activity.
  • Manage weekly digital marketing reports.

What you’ll bring:

  • A passion and knowledge for whisky.
  • Solid content production experience including copywriting.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns across digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as Facebook, Google, Instagram.
  • Degree or equivalent qualified.
  • Proficient computer skills, knowledge and capability in Microsoft suite of products, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent campaign management capability from conception to delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
