Overview

This rare Blue Label edition offers whisky collectors the chance to drink Brora whisky from before its original 1983 closure, a single malt distillery that’s seen so much demand that the distillery has reopened its doors in recent years. It’s married with pre-1993 stocks from Cambus distillery as well as early 2000’s stocks from Port Dundas, which is how this limited edition received its name.

Port Dundas is a well-known grain whisky distillery that has been shipping its unique Scotch from Glasgow to ports all over the world for almost 200 years. Constructed in 1811 at the pinnacle of the city's illustrious business past, Port Dundas developed into a major force in world of whisky blending and eventually became the biggest distillery in Scotland. It closed its doors in 2011 and was demolished.

This is an extraordinary chance for whisky lovers who wants to taste old-school Scotch distilleries like Cambus and Port Dundas that have been closed for decades.

Johnnie Walker doesn’t get more exclusive than this: a 1-of-1 bottling, never to be repeated. Presented at 43.8% ABV in 750ml bottles, expect butterscotch mingling with spiced apple and creamy vanilla with gentle wood spice.

Johnnie Walker's History

The Johnnie Walker story began back in 1805 when John Walker was born at his family’s Todriggs Farm, just near the town of Kilmarnock. His father passed away in 1819 when he was just 14 years old, and the proceeds from the subsequent sale of the farm were used to purchase a grocery store on High Street, Kilmarnock.
