Glen Grant makes Best in Show
Glen Grant 21 Year Old has taken out Best In Show at the annual TAG Global Spirits Awards
Released in March 2023, the 21YO is the oldest expression in the distillery’s range.
Master distiller Dennis Malcolm OBE hand-selected oloroso Sherry butts, hogshead and ex-Bourbon barrels from Warehouse Number 4, the oldest traditional stone dunnage warehouse at the distillery, and married together this award-winning spirit.
In other Glen Grant news, Malcolm has announced he will retire at the end of this year after a whopping 63 years in the whisky industry.
“As I look ahead to my retirement, it has led to much reflection of my career over the past 63 years,” said Malcolm. “I am immensely proud to have been part of The Glen Grant family.”
