The hunt for Australia’s biggest Ardbeg fan is on
To celebrate 25 years of the Ardbeg Committee, the distillery is searching for Australia’s biggest fan. And the prize? A trip to Ardbeg house to “drink, eat and sleep Ardbeg.”
Established on 1 January 2000, The Ardbeg Committee is an international community dedicated to making sure ‘the doors of Ardbeg would never close again’ (the 200-year-old distillery has closed or run at a limited capacity on several occasions).
So, if you’re a committee member, got an Ardbeg tatt, a whisky shelf overflowing with Islay’s finest, you’ve got two chances to score yourself a trip to Scotland that includes a three-night stay at Ardbeg House, including flights and a distillery tour.
Ardbeg House officially opened its doors in September 2025. Just a stone's throw from Ardbeg distillery in Port Ellen, Ardbeg House features 12 uniquely themed bedrooms, a bar and a restaurant.
If you reckon you’re in with a shot to win, submit a photo or short video that proves your the most devoted Aussie Ardbeg fan here.
One winner will take out The People’s Choice award and another will be crowned by the Committee Co-Chairs' Pick, judged by the distillery’s Gillian Macdonald and Bryony McNiven.

Entries close 30 November 2025.
