The Lark Rare Seppeltsfield Apera Cask Matured, Created Exclusively for The Whisky Club, has taken out a Master at The World Whisky Masters 2026.
The World Whisky Masters 2026 is an annual blind-tasting competition organised by global drinks magazine The Spirits Business.
A Master is the highest and most exclusive accolade reserved for spirits that are considered truly exceptional.
“We knew all those painstaking hours tasting cask samples with Chris (Lark’s Master Distiller and Blender Chris Thomson) was worth it!” The Whisky Club’s General Manager Seamus Carroll says.
”When we select whiskies for Club Members we encourage whisky makers to flex their creative muscles, push them to create truly unique one-offs without worrying about needing to recreate it. That's exactly what Chris and the team did with these historic Seppeltsfield barrels and this Masters Medal is further validation of what our Members have been enjoying in recent weeks.”
