One of the best Tasmanian whiskies we’ve had the pleasure of tasting, and we’ve tasted a fair few!
The first in an ongoing range of exceptional, hand-picked local whiskies representing the cream of Australian distilling, we’re delighted to present Launceston Muscat Cask Finish Cask Strength Whisky, Created Exclusively for Whisky Club Members.
This massive Tasmanian Single Malt is the work of Launceston Distillery’s owner and distiller Chris Condon and started its beautiful life maturing in 20 litre French oak Apera casks (Australian-style Sherry) before finishing in an exquisite old Muscat cask from award-winning Holm Oak Vineyards in Tasmania’s Tamar Valley.
Honestly, we’re speechless!
Bottled pure, straight from the cask 62.5% ABV it’s a massively rich and heavy dram, and one of the best fortified wine cask matured Tassie whiskies we’ve tasted. Whether you enjoy it neat or cut with a few drops of water, this exclusive whisky masterpiece gives new meaning to the term “Aussie Classic” and we’re delighted to be the bearer good news!
This whisky will be available on an Add-in basis to all Club Members while stocks last when our Official November Whisky of the Month (TBC…) goes live on 1 November.
Don’t miss out. Join the Club free today to get your hands on a bottle of this unmissable Tassie beauty!
