Overview
Without doubt, this is the most impressive of the highly sought-after Luminary Series – and the last.
Each edition was better than the last, and the complex layers of this 17-year-old are an epic way to cap off a series in style. Maximising flavour and complexity, each layer is made from parcels of the best casks from Dalmore’s bondstore – integrating 1989 and 1999 vintage Calvados casks with Matusalem Sherry and Apostoles Sherry, with further layers of Bordeaux and Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine casks.
This luxury edition is all-natural Dalmore, presented at 49.2% ABV without chill filtration or added colour.
No. 1 in the limited series quickly doubled in value worldwide – if you can even find one. The second Luminary edition was even better... but this finale cranks things up another notch. This is a serious collector’s piece, and your final chance to own part of this exquisite cask series – exclusively in Australia with the Club.
This bold, one-off release is landing in painfully limited numbers so make sure you’re ready to Add In yours from 4 July.

The Dalmore's History
Located in Alness, just north of Inverness on the shores of Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands, The Dalmore Distillery has been crafting whisky since 1839 when it was founded by well-to-do businessman Alexander Matheson. Matheson was a partner in Jardine, Matheson & Co, a Hong Kong headquartered firm that at the time was trading in smuggled opium, tea, and cotton. As the Jardine empire was well on its way to massive success (it’s now one of the 300 largest public companies in the world), Matheson let others do the hard work and leased Dalmore out to a number of families, sadly with little success.
