ardbeg-smokiverse-a-high-gravity-experiment
Ardbeg Smokiverse

We’re bringing this exclusively to Club Members in Australia so you can have it in your glass on 31 May – which fans of Islay’s cult distillery will know as Ardbeg Day.

Ardbeg has maintained its hefty malted backbone and big peat hit while adding more grist and less water in the mash tun during the brewing process (aka high gravity brewing). The outcome is ester heaven, and these fruity flavour compounds have then been dreamily matured in 100% heavily-charred, ex-Bourbon casks. Captured without chill filtration at 48.3% ABV, that fruity shift in the spirit’s profile shines through into a haze of smoky brilliance.

This full renovation on Ardbeg’s usual distilling is a tiny limited release – but it's so moreish that we’re already praying for a future second edition. The Club partnered with Ardbeg as the exclusive retailer of Smokiverse in Australia.

Not yet a Member? Join free today and build your own epic whisky collection.

The Club x Ardbeg Day 2025

As part of our partnership with Ardbeg, we’re proud to present an awesome lineup of Smokiverse-centric events in cities across Australia – some are on the day itself, some are spread across the weekend, but whatever you pick, you can guarantee you’re going to have an intergalactically smoky good time.

HOWLIN WOLF – WOLLONGONG
MAY 30

Members, head to the ‘Gong to enter the Smokiverse with Howlin Wolf!
