Because for this year, they’ve released a whisky that’s a spectacle of showstopping flavours. Something truly spectacular. So spectacular, in fact, that’s what they’ve called it.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis is the first time ever Ardbeg’s famous peated spirit has been matured in highly sought-after rare Port casks, which are then married with classic ex-Bourbon barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is an extraordinarily smoky and balanced Ardbeg, with all kinds of peculiar notes and aromas. Expect helpings of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003evintage leather\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ealmonds\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e on the nose, mouthfuls of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esalted caramel toffee\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esmoked pecan nuts\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, along with \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esmoky pear crumble\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003efudge\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, and a \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003emint chocolate finish\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e.
