And as they say, if it ain’t broke…\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe’ve worked closely with the family to deliver Club Members a very special one-off 2012 vintage release, matured fully in Oloroso sherry casks that have been hand-picked from a single Sherry bodega in Spain.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThose years spent in Oloroso have imparted those classic flavours into the whisky that will have Scotch lovers salivating.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe nose is like walking into an old English sweet shop. We love the trademark Glenfarclas \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003etoffee apple\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e set alongside \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003esundried raisins\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ebuttered croissant\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ehoneyed French oak spices\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. Add to that a palate of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ejuicy blackcurrants\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003efruity Sherry\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ehazelnut fudge\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ealmonds\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e as well as a hint of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003edark chocolate\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e as it lingers on the tongue.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e2021’s Aberlour 14 was one of our all-time Club favourites and isn’t a million miles away from this month’s Glenfarclas. Funnily enough, the two distilleries are only 7km apart.
