The handful of comparable vintage Australian whiskies start at prices upwards of $250 for a far smaller 500ml bottle. That’s before even mentioning its specs and heritage.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHellyers Road Vintage Triple Cask Created Exclusively for the Whisky Club is a vatting of two parcels of casks laid down in 2014 (Sherry and Port) and 2016 (American oak and Port), bottled in 2024 at 48.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 2014 portion carries the Hellyers Road \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eorange blossom\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e true-line, while 2016 adds \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePort-rich nuttiness\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ecigar box\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. A beautifully balanced palate follows, with seamless flavours of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003etoffee\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003egingerbread\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ecinnamon-stewed apricot \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eand a little \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003etoasty oak\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e.
