Jameson is bringing back the signature style that first made their name.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBy far the best selling \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/irish-whiskey\"\u003eIrish whiskey\u003c\/a\u003e in the world, and the third-biggest single distillery whisky in the world after Jim Beam and \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/jack-daniels\"\u003eJack Daniels\u003c\/a\u003e (Jamesons’s is 9x bigger than Glenlivet, the nearest single distillery Scotch), Jameson built its fame in the 1700s and 1800s as a single pot still whiskey. This pioneering style became the signature style of all Irish whiskey: a mash bill of malted and un-malted barley (to dodge taxes, believe it or not!), triple distilled in copper pot stills, at a single distillery.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJameson’s took the world by storm, single-handedly growing an entire country’s category, but with popularity came demand for huge volume, and compromise. The single pot still made way for today’s blend of triple distilled grain whiskey and pot still whiskey in the iconic green bottle that we love!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOver the past few decades Jameson teased us with a handful of very small, limited-edition Single Pot Still batches, selling anywhere from $500 to $1600 a bottle. Officially arriving in Australia in time for \u003ca href=\"\/collections\/st-patricks-day-whiskey\"\u003eSt Patrick’s Day\u003c\/a\u003e, this is the first time since the 1960s that a traditional Jameson Single Pot Still is widely available as a core range expression for all to enjoy. A few eager retailers have jumped the gun and bottles of Jameson Single Pot Still are available for over $450(!), but luckily it’s yours from the Club for only $110!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd the specs are off the show.
