kilchoman-100-islay-madeira-cask
Kilchoman 100% Islay Madeira Cask

Did you know Kilchoman has a whisky range where every single grain of malt is grown on its distillery farm? Thriving on Islay’s west coast, Kilchoman is famous as the island’s farm distillery: paddock-to-bottle whiskymakers with their own barley fields stretching west to the shores of Machir Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

It’s impressive stuff and Kilchoman clearly knows it. Flaunting their revival of traditional farm distilling, the distillery’s launched a ‘100% Islay’ range, in turn making itself the world’s only producer of Single Farm Single Malt Scotch.

Rarer still, we’ve collaborated with them on an exclusive 100% Islay release featuring Kilchoman’s first-ever 100% Islay Madeira cask maturation. This is one unique half of a world-first tandem release, alongside a festival-only Madeira cask maturation that you’d have to fly across the world for and queue up for hours.

But for ours, all you had to do was be a Club Member and have your ‘Add In’ finger ready on Friday 6 June – this one was just for you and fellow Whisky Clubbers. Peated to a sessionable 20ppm and bottled at 50.0% ABV, it’s giving that ultimate Islay palate of distinct wet, earthy peat with a beautiful lift from the Madeira.

Don’t miss getting to know the more distillate-driven side of their spirit – it's time to try Kilchoman at their best with an extra cereal-forward and fruity flavour.

Not yet a part of Australia’s biggest whisky community? Sign Up free now to get your hands on a bottle of our upcoming exclusive releases.
