Craig tasted through the many cask types in the bondstore, and while the overall quality was great, this single heritage Chinkapin white oak cask stood head and shoulders above the rest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-local-id=\"4dc344d34fd5\" data-prosemirror-content-type=\"node\" data-prosemirror-node-name=\"paragraph\" data-prosemirror-node-block=\"true\"\u003eThanks to a custom heavy-toast, heavy-char preparation on the cask, the \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003evanilla\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003ecaramel\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003espice\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e from the oak is on full show – one note from our tasting panel called it \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e“crème brûlée in a glass”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e.
