In Tamnavulin’s \u003cem\u003esingle, brief period of operation in 12 years\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eTamnavulin 25 Year Old Diamond Anniversary\u003c\/strong\u003e single cask was distilled and filled, back in the year 2000. Seven years later, when the distillery changed hands and reopened, the precious casks filled in this period were allowed to continue their maturation.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo this day, only three whiskies from the mothball years have ever been released, making them rare as hen’s teeth.
