With only a small number of casks chosen by Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie to reach such an incredible age, they’ve been given a final maturation in a single Pedro Ximénez cask, then bottled at 43.8% ABV natural cask strength. There was only enough liquid to fill a mere 198 bottles.

Over the past fifty years, this whisky has gained an unimaginable level of richness and complexity, the result is a perfect symphony of ripe dark cherry and plum on the nose, a heavenly palate of dark chocolate, tobacco, and cocoa, and a decadent finish of plum, black cherry, and velvety espresso.

Every bottle of The GlenDronach Aged 50 years has been hand-numbered and is presented in a luxurious, genuine leather case accompanied by an embossed leather booklet detailing the distillery history, tasting notes, and unique craft.
