Worth it? You bet. At 51.7% ABV, bottled with no chill filtration or added colour, the initial sweetness of the Apera has toned down into \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ecustard-like creaminess\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ebunches of fruit\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e. Expect waves of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esalted caramel\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e drizzled over \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003efresh raspberries\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eslow-stewed apple\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e“Using a very old Oloroso cask is often hard because they can be a little drying at times, knowing that some of the depth and richness comes at a price.
