Members voted the Westward Rum Cask the 2021 Whisky Of The Year which begged the question: how do we top it? After countless vineyard visits, cask reviews and whiskey samples, we found the answer.

The worldwide search brought us to our own backyard – the globally celebrated region of Rutherglen. Specifically to the family-owned Stanton & Killeen vineyard where we discovered their gorgeous Classic Muscat, with an average age of 12 years (and some much older stock in there). When we paired casks that held this muscat with Westward’s award-winning single malt, we knew we had an absolute killer of a whiskey.

Imagine Westward’s trademark big, bold spirit, rounded and wrangled by the incredible richness and complexity of those sticky Stanton & Killeen Muscat flavours.
