It’s decadent. It’s opulent. It’s a viking-themed restaurant and whisky bar. With helmet-clad staff and sword-covered walls, Members can feast like a god at Mjolner. This underground venue is split into three spaces: a restaurant, a private dining area and a whisky bar with 450 whiskies to choose from.
The bar menu serves up the delicious classics like cheese and charcuterie, as well as ‘trencher’—a mediaeval bar snack consisting of a bread bowl filled with meat (you won’t find this anywhere else). There’s a rotisserie in the kitchen that serves a daily rotation of mains, usually a bird, a fish, a meat option and a vegetarian option, too. And did we mention that Members are greeted with a concoction of honey, mead and vermouth served up in a miniature horn? Skal!
