Every single cask is different, and thanks to a small leak, this single Oloroso Sherry hogshead lost dozens of litres of whisky over its maturation. That means the liquid that was left received much more contact with the oak and evaporative influence, ramping up the Sherry cask intensity to monstrous levels.

Bottled at 55.4% ABV cask strength, non-chill filtered and with deep, dark all-natural colour, Bladnoch’s rare peated spirit plays perfectly with the cask: jammy toast and toffee apple layer with fresh ripe berries, spiced butterscotch brittle and smouldering smoked chocolate.

The leaky cask means only 164 bottles of this 2018 vintage bruiser exist, and they’re exclusively for Members.
