Berry Bros. & Rudd Benrinnes 15 Year Old Pedro Ximénez Single Cask
The seldom-seen Benrinnes comes to the Whisky Club for the first time, in a stunning single cask.
Rarely seen outside of independent bottlings, this is the first Benrinnes created exclusively for the Club from Berry Bros. & Rudd – the oldest spirits and wine merchant in the UK.
The distillery’s meatier and heavier style of spirit is reminiscent of super-traditional Scotch (think retro Glenfarclas or classic Mortlach), presented here at 15 years old, and juicier than anything thanks to a whopping four-year PX hogshead finish.
Tastes like: Raisins, rich butterscotch, choc chip cookies and syrupy orange jam.
