Distilled in the peak of Lagavulin’s golden era, the 1993 28 YO is a combination of two casks — first-fill Sherry butt and American oak. There’s only 642 bottles worldwide, and they’ve never been available in Australia.
This is Laga in its prime — a gloriously rich whisky, with redcurrant fruitiness on the nose and a wash of maritime scents and a long, mellow finish.
