Hartshorn is an award-winning micro-distillery in Birchs Bay, about 40 minutes south of Hobart, and the first team in the world to make and release small batches of spirits from sheep whey.
Most distilleries take just under half their yield but Hartshorn like minimal impurities and maximum quality, so they only use the best 10% of each distillate.
They're left with small batches of double-distilled, unfiltered deliciousness that have a habit of winning awards, like World’s Best Vodka at the World Vodka Awards 2018, Best Varietal Vodka of Australia at the World Vodka Awards every year from 2017 to 2021, and Australian Beverage of the Year at the Food & Beverage Industry Awards in 2017.
