Ichiro’s single casks are as rare as hens’ teeth, and when they do come around, they’re usually wildly expensive (particularly if you have to look outside Australia – they rarely make it out of Japan). But now we’ve sourced the first ever first-fill Oloroso Sherry Ichiro’s single cask to hit Australian shores, at a remarkable Members-only price.
Bottles from similar single casks are selling for $500+ internationally, and we’ve seen them retailing for $2,500 here in Australia. Things are wild on overseas auction sites as well – we’ve seen bottles going for up to $1,000.
