The Glendronach Ode to the Embers
For the first time ever in this oozing, fudgey, Double Gold-winning wonder, The Glendronach has exclusively matured its peated Highland spirit with Oloroso and PX casks – and it’s only launching in Australia with the Club.

Overview
We’ve partnered with The Glendronach for the launch of its first heavily sherried and peated whisky, to drop this whammer of a dram exclusively into your hands.
Dr Rachel Barrie, Master Blender at The Glendronach who’s also known as the Master of the Sherry cask, introduces us to this rare peated expression: “Ode to the Embers cloaks warm and rich spice in smouldering wisps of smoke, speaking of the days of old at The Glendronach Distillery”.
Buckle up for a tall order of cinnamon spiced toffee, caramelised walnut brittle, blackberry ganache and smoked chocolate fudge, executed to perfection by Dr Rachel. Taking first-fill Sherry casks for the majority of this cask filling, she’s created a oozing, fudgey and smoky single malt in the classic Glendronach style that’s set them as world-famous Sherry cask connoisseurs. 2025’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition judges were just as impressed as we are, handing this humdinger Double Gold just last month.
Glendronach collectors and Sherry cask lovers, take note – it's coming to you non-chill filtered, natural in colour and at a sumptuous 48.4% ABV this July. As an Add In, bottle numbers are limited so it’s worth setting your alarm for when this goes live, first thing on Friday 4 July.
