Jack Daniel's Single Barrel V
This is NOT your regular Jack Daniel’s. Singled out from 5000 other barrels as the prime example of top-shelf Tennessee whiskey, this is Jack at its boldest and darkest. This eagerly awaited barrel selection is bottled exclusively for Members of The Whisky Club at an unholy 62.5% ABV.
United StatesColour Deep garnet
Nose Orange sherbet perfectly balanced with guava, spices and golden honey.
Palate Complex and bold with candied apricot, toffee apple and toasted almonds, building into banana bread and dark chocolate.
Overview
With single barrel releases like gold dust, this is one Jack that won’t be making it to your local bottleshop. In fact, our last four JD Single Barrels have gone at break-neck speed and ended up with waitlists in the thousands. Hand-picked by JD’s Master Distiller (and friend of the Club) Chris Fletcher, this year our barrels only yielded six hundred bottles, making this the rarest drop yet.
And Jack Daniel's Single Barrel V is as good as the world’s most iconic whiskey gets. Those lucky enough to get their hands on a bottle will delve into full-blown whiskey-drinking heaven with spiced banana bread, bursts of orange sherbet, toasted almonds and melted dark chocolate.
Matured in the topmost tiers of the famous Jack Daniel’s rickhouses, this single barrel’s been selected as the best of the best – from thousands of barrels – to be bottled without chill filtration or any added colour. This is the icon at its boldest and darkest, at a full uncut barrel strength of 62.5% ABV.
And thanks to our special relationship with the titans of Tennessee whiskey, this legendary liquid has been bottled exclusively for The Whisky Club.
