Overview
This is an incredible barn find, only for Whisky Club Members.
John Walker Private Collection 2015 Edition – Rare Fruit Character is a rarity from almost nine years ago, the second in a long-forgotten five-part series of experimental Johnnie Walkers. This edition is a small batch blend of 29 casks chosen from across all of Johnnie Walker’s global bond stores to best reveal and express the fruit character that unfolds in the top notes of the Johnnie Walker house style. The result is distinctive Speyside, Highland and West Highland characteristics, including grilled pineapple, stewed apple, orange peel, dried apricot and fudge, and only a wisp of Johnnie Walker’s signature smoke.
Don’t just take our word for it. This brilliant whisky sauntered away with a Double Gold Medal and best in class at the San Fran World Spirits Competition in 2015.
Only 8,888 bottles of this were made, and we’d have guaranteed that 99% of those were well and truly accounted for… until we stumbled on these.
These are legit. A handful of dusty, nondescript cases found hiding at the back of a Johnnie Walker cellar.
Opening the boxes was like the whisky equivalent of the golden briefcase from Pulp Fiction.
Nine years ago, these sold for $888. We could only find one other bottle available going for $2,600…
Sure, we could have chucked them on an auction site, but we wanted you to experience the same pure joy we had when we found them. Due to their rarity, we wanted to give you every chance to own one.

Johnnie Walker's History
The Johnnie Walker story began back in 1805 when John Walker was born at his family’s Todriggs Farm, just near the town of Kilmarnock. His father passed away in 1819 when he was just 14 years old, and the proceeds from the subsequent sale of the farm were used to purchase a grocery store on High Street, Kilmarnock.
