We’ve taken classic Overeem Sherry casks that you know and love, and worked with world-famous Seppeltsfield winery to source a couple of decades-old Sherry hogsheads for a masterpiece finish on top of its already full maturation. The extra complexity and deeper Sherry influence gained from this extra 16-month finish is simply cracking – a 700ml bottle of dialled up goodness from one of the original pioneers of Tasmanian whisky.

Our previous Overeem x Club collaboration, the now legendary Tokay Cask, sold out within 24 hours. Since then, we’ve been eagerly watching this mature and counting down the days till it was ready to rumble.

Explaining the detailed process behind this exclusive release, Mark Sawford, Co-owner and Distillery Manager at Overeem, noted, “The whisky was specifically designed to deliver an intense sherry cask matured whisky whilst not overpowering the malt, viscosity, balance and elegance of spirit that Overeem is renowned for.” 

And it’s come out singing at a perfectly balanced 47% ABV. Non-chill filtered and naturally Tuscan red in colour, this single malt is an abundance of sweet black plum and thick malt with that classic candied orange peel, and a long-lasting caramel sweetness.
