Living Souls

Founded in Glasgow in 2024, Living Souls is an independent bottler created by three veterans in the whisky industry: Calum Leslie, former head of innovation at Loch Lomond Group; Jamie Williamson of Kilninian Drinks Co.; and John Torrance, spirits-sourcing specialist from Douglas Laing and Tullibardine.

Living Soul explores single malts, grains, blended malts and Scotch blends, with a particular focus on interesting casks and "memorable limited-edition whiskies".

Their first releases arrived in 2024, ranging from a 15-year-old blended Scotch through to a 40-year-old blend. Since then the range has expanded with increasingly experimental and well-aged bottlings. The majority of their releases are presented naturally, without chill filtration or added colour. Keep an eye out, whisky lovers!
