Tas Whisky Week is crossing Bass Strait for a big old arvo of beer and whiskies at Stomping Ground’s Collingwood Beer Hall, this June.

... reast Pedro Ximénez Edition together from opposite ends of the globe.No one-trick pony, McCabe has worked for Midleton Distillery as Irish Whiskey Academy tutor, international whiskey ambassador, blender and process technologist before taking over Billy Leighton as Chief Blender. Basically, he’s the man to ask any burning questions you have about Irish whiskey.
The fun starts at 7pm (AEST) on Wednesday 25th June, so you should be able to join in the live stream from your lounge room with your own bottle of June’s drop ready to pour.

Members, June is the time to head to Tassie's rugged West Coast for a wintry long-table dinner of drams and deliciousness.

"font-size: 14pt; color:#555555; line-height: 1.3;">On Saturday 28 June, Queenstown's Tracks Cafe will host Hunter Island Whisky and McHenry Distillery for one night only as part of the Light Up The West festival: you'll enjoy five awesome drams matched to five delectable courses (with chocolate and fruit to follow), all in a cosy fire-warmed space in the heart of Queenstown's historic train station.
The event will also be the exclusive launch of the new Mt Lyell Mongrel – a light pale ale made just for the West Coast Wilderness Railway – so you've got all your bases covered: whisky, warming fires, beer, and a hearty meal!
The festival will be lighting up the whole coast all weekend, so it's definitely worth making a trip of it.
