Overview

We’re absolutely thrilled and privileged to bring Members this incredible whisky.

It’s already setting the whisky world on fire, scoring 99/100 and picking up a highly coveted Double Gold medal at 2024’s San Francisco World Spirits Competition, making it a contender to take out the prestigious Best in Class.

The win puts the Aberlour 2010 Double Cask Matured in an elite category of whiskies that also picked up Double Gold including The Singleton 40 Year Old worth $6,200, Glen Scotia 25 Year Old worth $950, Talisker 45 Year Old worth $7,900, Benriach The Thirty worth $1,000, Glengoyne 30 Year Old worth $1,740 and the Tomatin 45 Year Old worth $14,000.

A first in the distillery’s history, the whisky was made especially and exclusively for the Club.

Or as Aberlour’s award-winning Master Distiller Graeme Cruickshank says, “It’s almost like getting into Aberlour’s warehouse and trying cask samples.”

“I’ve been at Aberour since 2002, and we’ve never created anything like this for anyone before. This a real exclusive for The Whisky Club.”

And it’s as delicious as it is historically significant.

“This is a standout for me. This really is the epitome of a Speyside single malt.

It’s got everything we know about Aberlour – those rich, fruity Speyside red apples, juicy plums, orange zest, and the sweet and spicy finish from the Sherry influence and the double cask.

That lingering, sweet, spicy finish is just sublime. Words just can’t describe it. It just takes you to heaven.”

This is Aberlour’s first-ever vintage release of their flagship multi-gold winning Double Cask. Not only that, it’s bottled at 48% instead of their standard 40%. And it’s the first time the multi-award-winning global favourite has ever created a one-off, limited batch release exclusively for anyone before.

And finally, a word of warning from Graeme, “Tell your Members to keep their socks off, because if they don’t they’ll be blown off anyway.”

You need to be a Member to get a bottle. If you’re not, join the Club free to get yours, but be quick because they're nearly gone.
