The Glenlivet’s made whisky history with its first ever exclusive creation in 202 years of whiskymaking: a pure, straight-from-the-cask limited edition created EXCLUSIVELY for The Whisky Club.
It’s been 20 years since Glenlivet launched their legendary cask strength Nàdurra series, and a decade since full strength, proper age statement Glenlivet (outside of rare single casks) disappeared from our shelves forever.
Until now. The Glenlivet have created a special, one-off Club version of the formidable cask strengths that started it all, just for The Whisky Club.

Benromach at its biggest and most brutish – a proper 1960s throwback.
Outside of buying a time machine, this is the closest the world’s going to get to a full-bore 1960s Sherry cask from the heyday of big Scotch single casks. It’s not for the faint of heart.
After spending its whole life in a single first-fill Sherry hogshead, this whisky has been unleashed to blow modern malts away. One sip of this is a ticket straight back to those deliciously textured 1960s sherried classics, serving up waxy texture, oak and light smoke like the classics of yesteryear.
Tastes like: Smoked-glazed ham, porridge with gooey peaches, cocoa, and nutty fruitcake.

If Springbank, Highland Park and Brora represent the holy trinity of whiskymaking geekhood, it’s only because Benromach’s too old fashioned – or too tiny – to be on the radar.
But this tiny Speyside distillery is putting out some of the best single casks in the world, and we’ve secured a cask from the best-reviewed parcel they’ve got: early-00s American oak ex-Bourbon, which the revered Serge of Whiskyfun calls “hugely impressive, one of my favourite malts … resembles very old Longrow or Springbank almost,” as well as an adoring comparison to Brora.
