Nose Hot apple crumble and vanilla ice-cream, followed by raisins, dates and a touch of chocolate.
Palate The classic Bladnoch style combines with notes of rich fruit cake, cinnamon, fig, dates, cloves, velvety milk chocolate and spiced oak.
Finish Long, rewarding sweet Sherry finish, evolving to a medium dryness.

Overview
Bladnoch’s a distillery close to our hearts here at the Club, with two massive releases under our belts so far that have helped propel the distillery towards cult status in Australia. So naturally we’re thrilled to have worked with their legendary Master Distiller, Dr Nick Savage, to bring you their only private Single Cask release this year. This is an absolute must have for Bladnoch fans - drinkers and collectors alike.
Bladnoch 2006 Select Cask was matured for 10 years in ex-Sherry refill hogsheads followed by a three-year finish in a first-fill ex-Oloroso Sherry butt for an extra layer of decadent Sherried goodness. It’s been bottled for us straight from the cask at a solid 50.2% ABV, and of course, non-chill filtered and non-coloured.
On first taste, Bladnoch’s signature Lowland style is immediately apparent, but brings with it powerful notes of hot apple crumble, raisins and ice-cream on the Nose, rich fruit cake, cinnamon and velvety milk chocolate on the Palate and a long, rewarding sweet Sherry finish. This one’s hard to put down!
