Nose Caramelised brown sugar with sweet spices, stewed fruits, vanilla bean and toasted oak.
Palate Rich and intense. Savoury up front and full bodied, with juicy red fruits, strawberry jam, baking spices, toasty malt and oak tannins.
Finish Long, soft finish with toasted spices, fruit, coconut, and a sweet American Oak linger.
Food Match Slow-cooked lamb ragu.
Overview
Back in April 2019 we teamed up with the legends at Starward in Melbourne to make a special release exclusively for the Club – little did we expect (well we sort of guessed once we tasted it!) that it would become one of our most sought-after and collected releases, with Starward fans, Members and Non-Members alike, still chasing down any remaining bottles today.

A set of three single casks all presented at a cracking 55.4% ABV cask strength and matured in unique 300l American oak charred red wine casks from the Barossa Valley, this is a big, beautiful, rich and intense single malt that once again takes Starward’s signature style to the next level… a riotous malty feast of strawberry jam, baking spices, juicy red fruits, oak tannins and deep toasty malt.
