Overview

We’re thrilled to see Talisker returning to its roots with this limited edition, giving us exactly what we loved from the Isle of Skye in the pre-2000s.

A strapping, peaty heavyweight at its natural cask strength of 58.7% ABV, the distillery’s distinctive orchard fruit characteristics are churning together with a tide of classic saline and peppery notes. Tie that all together with campfire coals, and a long, toasted marshmallow-like finish from a full maturation in re-charred casks and, bam, we’re in love all over again.

After all, it’s rich, oily, dense, and unadulterated Talisker… and we’re only human.

Non-chill filtered, no added colouring, and bottled judiciously at eight years of age to preseve all the exuberance of Talisker at its most expressive, this is as close as you’ll see it to taking a valinch out of the cask from the bond stores yourself.
