Starward named one of the most admired whiskies in the world
Action on the Aussie whisky news front! Our mates at Starward have just been named the 15th in ‘The World’s Most Admired Whiskies 2023’ by Global drinks trade magazine Drinks International, next to brands like Yamazaki, Ardbeg, Bruichladdich, The Macallan, Glenmorangie, Lagavulin and The Balvenie.
The Melbourne distillery was the only Australian brand to rank on the list.
Launched in 2021, Drinks International formed The World’s Most Admired Whiskies to recognise the 50 most revered and respected brands. The list is selected by a global panel of independent whisky experts based on quality and consistency.
“To be the only Australian distillery recognised on the list is a huge testament to our team’s dedication to take our whisky to new horizons, and we couldn’t be more proud of them,” the distillery said on LinkedIn.
