Dunville’s won an incredible swag of recent awards, including Best Cask Strength Whiskey at the Irish Whiskey Awards. This single cask is the last of the liquid that won Best Small Batch Irish Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards, but a year older and richer.
Intended to be one of the parcel of casks married into the Cigar Malt, Dunville’s 14 Year Old Palo Cortado Single Cask #1729 was instead set aside from the batch and left to luxuriate for another full year. And good grief – it’s ramped up the rich, chewy character that made the Cigar Malt so amazing even further.
Exclusively bottled for Club Members alongside its sister release, Dunville’s 14 Year Old Pedro Ximénez Single Cask #1753.
Tastes like: Sinfully smooth honey with seared almond croissant, dried apple and pear.
